This year we are excited to bring back "Vegan Roots Fest".

Little ol' Charlottesville, Va had it's inaugural Veg Fest gathering way back in 1997, the South's first Veg Fest and the nation's second.  We are returning since Covid and happy to align with C'ville's very first vegan restaurant, Botanical Fare on our historic Downtown Mall. We chose the centrally located and accessible outdoor space at IX Art Park, but provides so many benefits to the crowd, especially access and parking! We hope we can return the headcount of early years' Veg Fests to somewhere in the 4-5000 range. Sunday, September 15, 2024. 12-6pm. Welcome. We are working on this being a Zero-Waste, completely compostable event. We ask for your help in advance. No

plastic please, bring your own reusable drinking bottles! You could even bring your family's own forks/spoons. The vendors will have the compostable receptacles/napkins that you'll need to experience their delicious food and drink.

Come enjoy WFPB in Cville. We'll have between 40-60 vendors and exhibitors, WFPB food demonstrations, children's education slots, games, and more! Also plan on some kid version food demos, along with adorable animals, adorable (human) presenters, lots of science, live music and entertainment for all ages. We'll look forward to you joining us for soooo much fun !
