Event Description

Everyone from seasoned vegan chefs to those who have yet to cook a vegan dish are invited to this kick-off vegan potluck lunch co-sponsored by VSDC and the Takoma Park Silver Spring (TPSS) Co-op.

Bring a vegan dish that you prepared - or bought (salad, bread/spread, main or side dish, dessert) to share and your own beverage, plate, cup and cutlery (preferably non-disposable). Beverages and vegan items for sharing can also be purchased from the Co-op. Several picnic tables are available, but you may want to bring a folding chair just in case. There is limited shade onsite and in the pocket park across the street.

Please also bring a printed list of ingredients for your dish, out of consideration for people with food allergies.

Please use the comments below to let us know what dish you plan to bring.

*We anticipate this event continuing on the second Saturday of each month throughout the year.*

In case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled (no rain dates) no later than the evening before.
