The first ever international B2B vegan event in India - Vegan India Expo 2019 will be held in New Delhi from 5 - 7 July 2019 under the aegis of the World Vegan Federation.

The Indian market has seen retail sales of plant-based food grow by 17% in the past 12 months with total sales topping US$3.7bn. Plant-based milk and cheese is now sold in 89% of all retail outlets and commands 13% of total retail milk sales nationally. Plant based milk sales increased 23% in the past year, with the India retail market now worth $684m.
