Calling all advocates to join us, as we urge the Los Angeles City Council to end horses, pony rides, and petting zoos. For so many years these animals have not been treated with the compassion that they deserve, and the time is now to change this.
Signs will be provided to you. Please join us in front of the train track and leave your furry, beloved pets at home.
This will be a peaceful outreach event that will engage in no debates with parents, and no confrontations with workers. Only peaceful, kind, love based leafletting to parents, gathering signatures, and holding beautiful signs to provide education of the plight of these animals.
I hope you can join me as we push the City Council of Los Angeles to take action to end the years of abuse and exploitation that these beautiful animals have had to endure.
