Start the month off right with a friendly vegan meal at a low cost restaurant! Join us the first Thursday of every month from 6 - 8 pm at a local inexpensive restaurant. Sometimes in Kalamazoo, sometimes Portage, sometimes Oshtemo, sometimes ??? We'll eat, chat, and make new friends. Karma points if you wear a vegan shirt so others can see that Yes, There Really is a Vegan Kalamazoo!

On December 6 we'll be at the Chipotle on Westnedge Ave in Portage. They have great Mexican food, and their tortillas, beans (black *and* pinto), rice, fajita veggies, and more are all vegan. Plus they offer sofritas - yummy spicy (but not TOO spicy) tofu crumbles.

Managers Joseph and Andrea will be taking extra precautions on the food line so as to minimize risks of cross-contamination.

As always, at Vegan Kalamazoo events, *everyone* is welcome, including vegans, vegetarians, omnivores, and vegans-in-progress. However, out of respect for our mission, we request that you only order / consume vegan food at this event.
