This group arises out of the bi-monthly Vegan Self-Care, Growth and Spirituality Group, which you are welcome to attend as well. Here the focus is on building our meditation practices. We have a group silent meditation session of twenty minutes. We get acquainted and have an introduction to meditation-with inputs from members, and discussion post-meditation. Meditating with others is calming, empowering and supportive to one's own personal practice! As vegans, meditating helps to cleanse our minds of the herding culture's indoctrination. We seek to move beyond to cultivate love, compassion, joy and peace in our lives and the world Host: Susan Datri LCSW-R is a vegan of nine years, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, certified in Group Psychotherapy and a World Peace Diet Facilitator, certified by Will Tuttle Ph.D. Will Tuttle Ph.D, is the author of the best-selling book, 'The World Peace Diet, Eating for Spiritual Health and Social Harmony,', a Dharma Master in the Zen tradition, a pianist-composer, world-wide speaker and performer, teacher of compassion, intuition and a major leader of the vegan movement. *Notes: Sign-up closes the night before the event.
