We will have an informative presentation by Dr. David Neubauer, a plant-based physician who specializes in sleep medicine and psychiatry. Dr. Neubauer is a faculty member of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he advocates healthy eating for everyone to promote a sustainable planet, positive relationships with animals, and optimum functioning of our bodies and minds. The last time Reader's Digest listed the "best sleep doctor" for each state (2019), they chose Dr. Neubauer for Maryland!
Circadian rhythms have been in the news lately since their groundbreaking molecular discoveries led to the 2017 Nobel Prize for physiology and medicine awards. Dr. Neubauer will discuss the pursuit of wellness and the important role of circadian rhythms in relation to our sleeping and eating. His presentation will range from recent research findings to practical suggestions.
