Our Veg/Vegan Educational Dinner Series usually meets on the last Saturday of the month, and gives folks the opportunity to connect with friendly, like minded people. We will meet at our new venue, in the fellowship hall of Govans Presbyterian Church, 5828 York Rd, Baltimore, 21212. The church is located a little south of the historic Senator Theater, on the same side of the street as the Senator.

Dana Simpler, MD, will speak on "Diet Wars - Who to Believe". Dr. Simpler will review the health benefits of a plant based diet and tell how it compares to the Mediterranean diet, American Heart Association and American Diabetes Association diets. Dr. Dana Simpler is a board certified Internist with over 25 years experience in Primary Care/Internal Medicine. Dr. Simpler is a practicing physician whose primary focus is on diet and lifestyle.
