This is not an actual scheduled Meetup event, but a page to use for discussions and messages that will always be posted and easy to use.

Members may use the comment section below to communicate with the rest of the group members to post things they would like to do with others. Or to post ideas of Meetups and events you would like to see. This is a good way to see if others have the same interests. Maybe you would like people to go on hikes with, or have a beach bonfire with.

To use and receive notices from each other you will first need to click the "Attend" button. Then discussions can take place in the comments below and you will receive notices when someone posts a message.

I really want this group to be a more participatory group where members become friends. So if you are looking for friends to attend a theatre play with you, or to go see a movie with, this is the place for that. Perhaps someone would like to host cards or a board game night. This will help develop our community.

If you post something like "who's up for coffee Tuesday at noon" or "I am at the OB Farmer's Market anyone want to meet me?" for instance, people will see it in real-time as a notice and can respond with the reply button. The next day you can go back in and delete your comment since it will be past-tense and no longer applicable.

You can also post cool Youtube links, or general questions or discussions with the group here. It's a good way to keep in touch or start a discussion.

I will occasionally go through the comments and delete outdated conversations and discussions to keep the comments fairly current and so you won't have to scroll through a lot of old discussions to see what's relevant for that week.
