Registered participants will be emailed the recipe along with details to join the class via Zoom the week before the class and again as a reminder 1 hour before class begins. Registered participants who attend the class will be entered into a drawing for a $20 co-op gift card.

This virtual Budget Cooking class features an adaptable vegan lentil soup that can feed four people for less than $15 and can be adapted based on what is in your pantry. Saba from East Side Table will lead the cooking demo and Katie from Mississippi Market will discuss tips and the best ways to save while shopping at the co-op.

For class, you'll just need a computer or phone to connect to Zoom. If you'd like to cook along with Saba, plan to have the recipe, ingredients, and cooking tools handy. The recipe and ingredient list will be emailed out 1 week in advance to allow time for shopping.
