Join St Louis Animal Save for a vegan canned food drive outside of STAR Packing.

Please bring as many vegan canned foods or other non-perishable items as possible! We will be giving residents in the surrounding area a bag filled with items of their choosing!
*Feel free to bring other items such as gloves, hats, scarves, socks, or other gently used winter items!

Here are possible items to bring:
1. Canned beans
2. Peanut butter
3. Rolled oats
4. Canned fruit
5. Canned soup
6. Canned veggies
7. Dried pasta
8. Seeds
9. Nuts
10. Apple sauce
11. Cereals
12. Dried fruits
13. Canned tomatoes
14. Bagged rice
15. Shelf stable plant milk
16. Veggie broth and stock
17. Canned pasta sauce
18. Package dry microwaveable meals

This event will take place at the same slaughterhouse where six cows escaped in 2016. Five of them are now living their lives at the Gentle Barn in Dittmer, MO!

This event will also help educate the surrounding neighbors on the importance of a vegan lifestyle. We understand that some people are more privileged than others when it comes to affording healthy food, so holding a vegan canned food drive will help educate passersby on easier ways to purchase inexpensive plant based meals!! Let’s give back to our community by showing compassion for both humans and nonhuman animals!

Signs and pamphlets will be provided, but feel free to bring your own!
