I'm adjusting the book group meetings. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

First, I'm skipping December because the meeting is too close to the holidays. We'll resume in January, and then go every other month - March, May, etc.

Second, I may be in a class Tuesday evenings in winter quarter, so I'm moving the book group to Wednesdays..

So, book group meets the fourth Wednesday of every other month, but only on alternate solstices. (Joke). I try to plan the books about six months or so in advance, and happily solicit your suggestions for future reads.

Please come join us, even if - or perhaps especially if - you've not read the book. Bring your interest in veganism and your questions. Regardless of the book under discussion, the book group is a pleasant forum in which we usually share thoughts about food, animals, places to eat, and any other topics you'd like to raise.

And a post-discussion tipple at Doyle's or the Harmon Tap Room is a pleasant end to the evening. Everyone welcome.

Let me know your individual preferences, and, depending on popular sentiment, I'll shift the order or add other books.
