Event Description

Eat, drink & be merry this holiday season with our first ever Tour of Hoboken’s Vegan Friendly restaurants! Enjoy light bites, succulent juices, and scrumptious feasts. For this tour we’ll be only focusing on downtown Hoboken. With the below choices, you won’t leave hungry, but extremely full and completely nourished!

Food Tour

Simply Juiced, 262 1st Street

Tony Baloney’s, 263 1st Street

KoroKoro, 201 Washington Street

Acai Ya Later, 203 Washington Street

Honeygrow, 120 Washington Street

After Party

Scotland Yard, 72 Hudson Street

We will start the tour at Simply Juiced on 1st Street between Park and Willow Avenues (closer to Willow) then go across the street to Tony Baloney's, a pizza joint that serves three vegan pizzas. They are cheeseless, but are still very creative and delicious. You won't even miss the cheese! (I promise) We will then continue the tour by making our way to Washington Street where we will visit Koro Koro, Acai Ya Later, and then end at Honeygrow. Koro Koro serves rice balls and they have four that are vegan!! Yum! Acai Ya Later has acai bowls and smoothies. At Honeygrow you can pick and choose what ingredients you want in a rice or noodle bowl, or salad. We will advise the group on the vegan ingredients and dressings, or you can ask the friendly staff.

For anyone interested in continuing the fun after the official food tour, we will also be going to Scotland Yard, a nearby pub, as we continue our merry-making! They are conveniently one block from the PATH station for anyone who needs to get back to NYC, or travel within NJ to Jersey City or Newark.

As we are an environmentally friendly group, as well as animal friendly, we ask our members that if it is possible, to please bring your own reusable utensils to reduce waste along our food tour.

We also ask that if you have one, to wear a vegan t-shirt, hat, pins, etc. Anything you have to show your vegan pride! We want these establishments to see a large, proud group of compassionate vegans who are enjoying their vegan food options in hopes they will add even more options. We are a large community and are only growing. We aren't going anywhere!

You don't need to be vegan to join us. Vegetarian and Vegan curious people are welcome but we ask that everyone order vegan meals during the tour to promote our cause: veganism.

If you are not able to join us at the beginning of the tour and need to check on our location, we will provide a phone# for one of the organizers the day of the event. We will also try to update our location in the comments.

We look forward to seeing everyone!!
