The Unapologetically Brown Series is a visual series utilizing public space for storytelling by queer people of color founded by Johanna Toruno. The series will be hosting a pop-up event in Houston! Johanna believes that culturally appropriate vegan foods are crucial for people of color to go and stay vegan, and she wants to use her platform as an opportunity for non-vegans to see how delicious vegan food can be without costing us our culture.
