Event Description

We are excited to announce that SWFL is joining “The Official Animal Rights March” international event!

The Official Animal Rights March is an annual march founded by UK animal rights organization Surge. The march began in London in 2016 with 2,500 vegans and in 2017 the march doubled to 5,000 vegans marching in London for animal liberation.

In 2018, Anonymous for the Voiceless unites with Surge to bring the march to Southwest Florida and we want to see HUNDREDS of animal lovers taking over the streets of FT Myers, demanding an end to all animal oppression.

This march aims to be bigger, bolder, brighter and louder than any animal rights demonstration in Lee County history, but we need your help. Invite your friends, tell every person you meet, this is the day that we unite, where we stand up, rise up and say no more, not in our name.

We will be meeting in the Centennial Park pavilion at 2 PM. Speakers from ARM, Anonymous For the Voiceless, and others have been invited to speak until 2:30 PM. Afterwards, we will march to the Lee County Courthouse and then to Wink News where we will present and live stream ARM's illegal slaughterhouse footage from Buckingham farms in a cube of truth demonstration.

Save the date, spread the word - and let’s make history for the animals.
