Let's meet up...online! You do NOT need to cook/make something to join the meetup - it's totally optional!

We'll use Jitsi for our video hangout because it's quick and easy - no signup/account required.

• Computer (preferred) - Video chat with a computer is a much better experience than the mobile app. Go to https://meet.jit.si/SVSV from Chrome or Firefox browser, and allow access to your microphone and camera. Safari on Mac doesn't seem to work well.

• Smartphone (if computer not available) - If you cannot join via computer, then download the "Jitsi Meet" Android or iOS app and enter room name "SVSV" and join.

This is intended to be a CASUAL and INFORMAL hangout that gives us a chance to chat and (re)connect. Here's what you can expect at this online meetup:

1) Intros (name, dietary preference, location, question of the week)

2) Optional challenge--sweet or savory, inspired by whatever culture you fancy! (you do NOT need to make something to join the meetup)
--show us your skills with making ! Make something on or before Saturday, and upload a photo on this meetup event page. Please share or link to the recipe so we can learn too!
--even if you can't join us for the meetup, you can still show off your cooking skills by adding your photos to this meetup.

3) If time permits, we will play a short, easy, and fun game together.
