You’re in the grocery store with conventionally grown bananas in your left hand and organically grown bananas in your right hand - which do you choose? Are you confused by the organic label? Is it healthier than conventionally grown produce? Safer? Better for the environment? What about for those who grew the bananas? The organic label is confusing and leaves many consumers questioning whether they are choosing the best option for themselves and their family or spending extra money just for the fancy label. Let’s end the confusion now.

Join Kelsey, who has a degree in Public Health and is certified in Plant-Based Nutrition from eCornell University, on Wednesday, May 12th from 6:30-8:30 pm for an in-depth workshop explaining the ins and outs of organic farming. We’ll discuss the history of organics, the benefits and criticisms, the environmental, social and health aspects, our current food system, organics place in the world and much more.
