Event Description

START YOUR *VEGAN* NEW YEAR RIGHT, WITH LINDA MIDDLESWORTH! WEDS. JAN. 15 AT 6 PM

On Weds. Jan. 15 at 6 pm, Linda Middlesworth, founder of the Vegan Mentor, and certified in plant nutrition from Cornell University under C. Colin Campbell, will give a presentation designed to jumpstart YOUR vegan new year! She has entitled her talk, "Why Optimal Food Choices and Why Vegan?"

She will address important questions such as, how some foods help us achieve and maintain optimal health and the correct bodyweight, and which foods, even for vegans may increase our risk for heart disease, obesity, cancer, diabetes, and autoimmune diseases. I will explain the difference between whole foods, plant-based diet, a junk food diet and why we need to open our hearts beyond diet, the important rationales for veganism which go beyond our physical health.

Linda will be here as YOUR VEGAN MENTOR. She looks forward to offering tips and guidance so that you truly can hit the ground running in your vegan new year.
