Event Description
Event hosted by Sara Dutertay. This is a free event.
We are asking for help as we are trying to stand with the animals on the West side of Long Beach. We will be protesting against animal cruelty on May 25th and wanted to humbly ask you if there is anyone who can come stand with us.
Our councilman had two precious dogs that they neglected and were very cruel to and the DA confronted them about it because one of the dogs had died as a result of the cruelty. You may have seen it in the LB Post a few months ago. (https://lbpost.com/news/councilman-and-wife-accused-of-animal-abuse-take-animal-cruelty-prevention-classes-in-lieu-of-criminal-charges)
He is holding an event the evening of May 25th and we want to be the voice of the animals and let them and everyone passing by know that we stand with animals and not with this Councilman who feels its ok to be so cruel to animals.
Join us in a protest in front of the restaurant that his event is being held at that evening? It will be in front of the Bonanza Restaurant 1810 W Willow St, Long Beach, CA 90810 at 5:45pm. Some of us are making signs like "No to Uranga.. No to animal cruelty!" or "No to animal cruelty.. No to Uranga!" "Animals deserve better".
Please help us spread the word if you could because the animals deserve better than this and it hurts to see our city politicians getting away with abusing the defenseless animals.
