The Plant Powered Kids Festival will gather local environmental and health organizations, plant-forward companies, schools, and community groups to help spread the message of plant power.

Activities will include:
--arts and crafts with recycled materials
--an eco book reading nook
--letter-writing to elected officials
--ingenious meal tips from vegan nutritionists
--culinary demonstrations
--movement and mindfulness classes with Wellness in the Schools

Panels and lectures will include these topics:
--climate optimism
--having a plant-powered family in the real world
--what happens when your school adopts a plant-based focus (Hint: the whole school community learns about the effect of food choices on health, the
environment, equity, and other social justice issues.)

As a special onstage treat, there will be a kids' concert with energetic beats for all ages!
Additionally, festival-goers will be able to circulate amongst 30 carefully curated plant-forward vendors.
