Event Description

Join us for this FREE Hispanic themed PBNM Group monthly meeting to learn about using a plant based diet to prevent and reverse chronic disease.

Hosted by Esperanza Roman APN, this program will be in Spanish and English. This is a VOLUNTARY POTLUCK. So bring a dish to pass if you like, but don't fret if not. All Potluck food needs to be Whole Food Plant Based-No Oil (that means fruit, vegetables, whole grains, beans/legumes, nuts/seeds). Looking for ideas or recipes? We've got you covered (https://pbnm.org/resources/recipe-sites/)

A brief video will be played about the meeting's topic followed by dinner then a discussion and physician/APN Q&A.

The purpose of PBNM Groups is to support your effort towards good health preventing and reversing chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and cancer by eating more plant based foods. We support and welcome all individuals no matter where they are in their personal journey.

PBNM Groups will allow you to experience first hand how wonderful plant based foods can be while learning many health topics and connecting with other people working toward good health.

We are a part of growing movement as a part of the non-profit organization Plant Based Nutrition Movement (visit https://PBNM.org).

This group will meet at the Rush Copley Heart Institute, on the 2nd floor conference room at 6PM on the second Tuesday of every month.
