Hi everyone

We are very pleased to have as our guest speaker for January Lisa Thomson. Her presentation will be looking at the main drivers of deforestation (palm oil and industrial meat production) and how Greenpeace campaigns on this global crisis.

Lisa is a film maker, and in her spare time she co-runs the Camden Greenpeace group. She has been inspired by Greenpeace’s work ever since she was little! Driven by environmental destruction she saw through the media, as a student she got involved with her local group. She became a Greenpeace Speaker in 2018 and over that time has had the pleasure of presenting to thousands of people, from primary & secondary schools, right through to universities, businesses and community groups.

We aim to finish the formal meeting by 8pm, with the option to stay online afterwards for an informal chat.
