Event Description

Enjoy an evening of friendly conversation and drinks at the indoor/outdoor rooftop of the Pod 39 Hotel.

This sky-high bar atop the Pod 39 hotel offers prime views of the Empire State and Chrysler buildings but it’s the ivy-clad brick archways, glowy string lights, and Mexican tile-topped tables that create this watering hole’s vibrant piazza feel.

Rooftop Guide says: The Pod 39 rooftop bar NYC provides a stunning view of New York City and all the skyscrapers. Located in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Midtown Manhattan, just a couple of blocks from the Chrysler Building, the terrace has a really cool 1800’s setting with brick arches, ivy walls and cozy lanterns glowing in the night.

The rooftop at Pod 39 is run by Empellón Al Pastor, so it is also referred to as the Empellón Al Pastor Rooftop. With a full and year round Mexican restaurant in the lobby of the hotel, the rooftop is open seasonally and serves lighter bites from the restaurant, along with fresh cocktails (like a classic Margarita), different canned beers and wine by the glass.

The Lounge at Pod 39 Hotel is a perfect place for us to chill, on an early-summer evening. There’s a beautiful, vibrant atmosphere. At present it is enjoying a surge of popularity, especially among a younger crowd. The views and the charming setting make Pod 39 a top destination and an ideal spot to relax.

This event has no cover and no minimum. But please do buy a drink or two. They have a large selection of juices, sodas, and non-alcoholic drinks for those who wish to refrain from drinking alcohol. The dress code is business casual.

Join us for a fun, relaxed spring evening with fellow vegetarians and vegans.
