Love spending the evening watching a movie under the stars? Come spend your Friday night with us for Disney’s “Coco” at Wilder Park in Elmhurst!
For those able to make it there at 7pm, we’ll meet at the fountain west of Wilder Mansion (south of the tennis courts) to then go find a spot together. We’ll update the discussion with where we end up. We were told the parking lots for Wilder Park fill up early but that parking is also available across the street at Elmhurst College.
The movie starts at dusk, approximately 8:30pm, but they’ll have free popcorn and food trucks starting at 7:30pm. While we know our vegan options will be limited (see below), we certainly want to support the local park district and public library as they sponsor this free, family-friendly event.
Feel free to bring your own (vegan) snack or dinner and non-alcoholic beverages, and a reminder that while we welcome all veg-curious attendees, we do expect everyone to eat vegan at our events.
Don’t forget a blanket and bug spray!
Food Truck Info:
The bakery will not have any vegan goodies, unfortunately, but the ice cream vendor (Kimmer’s) will have a dairy-free sorbet option. One of the savory food trucks may have some sides and the popcorn may be vegan – we will update this when we know more!
