This is a 60 minute online session and is based on a zen Buddhist teaching given at Plum Village in France on Mindful Eating, reviewing aspects of gratitude, portion size, mindfulness. A growing evidence base suggests that mindful eating is highly effective in helping people manage unruly eating habits and lose weight.
The outcome of this session is give you an insight into the practice and experience joy with your food. Support materials are provided after the class.

Mindful Eating is a practice that takes time to embed so these session will be the first Wednesday of every month at the same time. The sessions are usually £10 but Sue has offered a discount when signing up through this Meetup by using the code: LOVEFOOD
*What happens after I've booked on?*
You will get sent an email. Please add the session to your electronic calendar so the link comes up easily before the appointment time.
Create a Zoom account so that you are ready to log in for the session. Please log in 5 mins before so we can meet each other and find out what your experiences of mindfulness practice are before we start. If you are happy to put the camera on that would make the class more interactive.
*How to prepare for the session?*
Participants are requested to prepare a meal before the session starts. Please also have a piece of chocolate or dried fruit to hand during the session.
