It’s this ‘little’ chap’s first birthday!

Logan or Logie Bear (or Bivarddi Highland Warrior, to give him his correct name) will be one year old on Thursday, 2nd December.

He is my tenth rescue Irish Wolfhound and the only puppy I have ever had. He had a spinal stroke at six weeks old and it was touch and go whether he was going to make it. He will always limp but he has a great life now and, if he hadn’t been disabled, he would have had to spend his life competing in dog shows. He is very sweet and gentle (even when he knocks people over by accident!) and accompanies me nearly everywhere (it’s the only way I can stop him chewing up my house). It has been a fascinating journey to watch him put on a stone a month since he arrived and… he still has a whole year of growing to do!

Logan says he doesn’t need presents - just your presence.
