Join us to pick up our dinner at the Lekka Burger. After picking up your dinner we'll head east to find a suitable location in Battery Park City.

"Social entrepreneur Andrea Kerzner and award-winning chef Amanda Cohen have teamed up to introduce Lekka Burger, a plant-powered burger and shake concept in Lower Manhattan," Lekka Burger.

Lekka Burger: "Lekka burgers are made with only whole, natural ingredients including portobello mushrooms, cannelloni beans, onions, fennel, and garlic. The burgers contain no soy or gluten, and require no added lab made flavors or vitamins to be wholesome and delicious.
Lekka (or Lekker) meaning 'awesome' and 'delicious' in South African slang, is a celebration of Andrea’s South African roots and passion for sustainability and Amanda’s innovative cooking."

VegNews: " Founded by Amanda Cohen (owner of vegetarian fine-dining restaurant Dirt Candy) and South African-born humanitarian Andrea Kerzner, Lekka Burger opened in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan in 2019. The colorful eatery specializes in made-from-scratch veggie burgers inspired by global flavors and is driven by a mission to offset the environmental damage done by the meat and dairy industries. "

From Pure Wow's The 20 Best Healthy Restaurants in NYC: "... The vegan burgers are made fresh daily from whole ingredients to create their unique texture. We’re drooling over the Peri Peri Burger with peri peri sauce and vegan mayo, Guacamole Burger, and Masala Burger with coconut chutney cabbage slaw and tamarind ketchup. They also serve sides like broccolini Caesar and oat milk soft serves and milkshakes..."

Time Out New York's Best milkshakes in NYC: “Amanda Cohen has been cooking some of the city’s most experimental vegan food—long before it was trendy—at Dirt Candy. Her fast-casual, plant-based burger spot Lekka Burger (TriBeCa) also dishes out incredible milkshakes. Choose from chocolate, strawberry, caramel, matcha or the uniquely delicious halvah—it's a flavor you don't realize is missing from your life until you try it!”

Tribeca Citizens: "...The menu is limited, but for the vegans out there it will be a treat. They’ve got three versions of their burger — created by acclaimed veggie chef Amanda Cohen — three kinds of fries, a broccolini caesar salad, vegan shakes, draft beers and cocktails.."
