Join us for a hike on Bowen Island. You won't need a car. The 20-min. ferry ride to Bowen Island (Snug Cove) costs $10.50 plus tax / passenger, round trip. You can take bus 250 and 257 from downtown to get to Horseshoe Bay.

We'll meet at the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal at the round benches close to the orca statue in front of the ticket wicket at 9:45 am to catch the 10:10 am ferry. We'll take the 2:40 pm ferry home. **Purchase Ferry Ticket first then come meet at the benches by the orca sculpture. If you arrive late we will be in the waiting room**

The scenic hiking trail that wraps around Killarney Lake offers the perfect reason to make a day trip to the peaceful community of Bowen Island. Just 20 minutes by ferry from Horseshoe Bay, one gets the full sense of laid-back island life.

Branch on Bowen Cafe. The cafe has changed their menu for winter. They now have Burritos and Rice Bowls. No taco's during the winter.
