Want to learn about rescued farm animals?  Want to meet them in person?! If you said “Yes, I do!” then Rancho Compasión is the place for you!  Nestled in the rolling hills of west Marin, Rancho Compasión provides a forever home to cows, pigs, turkeys, goate, sheep, chickens, donkeys, ducks and more.

Every second Saturday of the month (rain or shine!), Rancho Compasión opens its doors to visitors aged 10 and older.  We’d like nothing more than having you visit our gentle residents and telling you all about them. We hope that you are as excited to meet our animal friends, as they are to meet you...and, don’t forget your cameras!

Ticket ($20 pp) sales end at 5:00 pm the night before the event and may sell out so be sure to purchase yours early!

To make sure that your visit is the best it can be, there are a few guidelines we’d like to share with you:

• Each visitor (or their guardian) needs to read and sign this liability waiver .  It only takes a few minutes and must be completed prior to your arrival at Rancho Compasión. Parents/Guardians of minor children must sign on the behalf of their children.  

• Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time of the tour to allow time for check in and parking.

• Gate to Rancho Compasión will be closed 15 minutes after the tour start time,  and we cannot guarantee entry after that time due to safety concerns and limitations in cellular coverage.

• Please wear long pants and closed toed shoes (no flip flops or sandals) during your visit to Rancho Compasión, and don’t forget the sunscreen!

• For everyone’s safety, no companion animals are allowed on-site (even in a car with the windows rolled down).

• If you need to cancel your visit, please let us know ASAP.  Refunds are provided when cancellations are received via email 7 days prior to the tour date.
