Event Description
Event hosted by Animal Defenders International.

Join Animal Defenders International founders Jan Creamer and Tim Phillips for a special evening in Los Angeles to help get 17 lions and tigers rescued from circuses in Guatemala home to the new ADI Wildlife Sanctuary in South Africa for Christmas!

This relaxed and fun event will include vegan hors d’oeuvres, film shows, tales of ADI on the frontline for animals, an auction of art work, and holiday gifts for sale. There will also be special animal-themed cocktails available for purchase.

Jan and Tim will be coming from Guatemala, via Florida, after taking tigers Max, Simba, and Kimba, to their forever home at Big Cat Rescue, and gearing up to the huge airlift of the remaining 17 lions and tigers to Africa.

They will share the inside story and latest news with videos and photographs of this dramatic rescue that has involved armed raids on circuses, armed mobs, threats and intimidations, and an emergency evacuation of the temporary rescue center. Meanwhile, 8,500 miles away, our new wildlife sanctuary in South Africa is already home to 25 rescued lions.

Jan and Tim will also share the more lighthearted moments from the rescue mission in Guatemala and from the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary.

Please join us for a great evening and give the animals we have rescued from circuses in Guatemala the best Christmas present ever.

Everything raised at this event will go toward getting the remaining 17 lions and tigers home for the holidays!

Tickets: $75 per person
