Participants will learn about the evidence regarding diet and lifestyle intervention on premenstrual disorders/hormone sensitivity. This will enable them to make more informed dietary and lifestyle choices going forwards and we will discuss practical ways of implementing this.

About the speaker

Dr Hannah Short is an NHS GP and an accredited specialist in Menopause and Premenstrual Disorders, recognised by the British Menopause Society (BMS), The International Association for Premenstrual Disorders (IAPMD) and The National Association for Premenstrual Syndromes (NAPS).

A member of the IAPMD Surgical Menopause Advisory Committee, Hannah also provides voluntary medical support for The Daisy Network (a charity dedicated to girls and women diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Insufficiency ). Former Associate Editor of the BMS journal ‘Post Reproductive Health’, she has served as a trustee for NAPS as well as on the clinical board of The Primary Care Women’s Health Forum (PCWHF).

Hannah speaks widely on the topic of female hormonal health to both healthcare professionals and patient groups. She also has a keen interest in the role of plant-based nutrition in hormonal health, and has undertaken further training in Lifestyle Medicine with the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP).
