Heartland Rooted is an independent member organization of the PlantPure Pods Network. We are a 501c3 not for profit group with a mission to promote health through a whole food plant-based lifestyle. We are a community resource advocating a whole food plant based lifestyle to prevent, manage and reverse lifestyle-related diseases through education, empowerment and fellowship.

We meet people where they are - from those exploring to those already embracing a plant based lifestyle. We share evidence based science and every day tips for living your best life with a plant based diet. Each month on the third Saturday from 12-2, we host a whole -food plant-based no oil potluck, with time for connecting with others over a delicious meal! Then we have a quick meeting and announcements, leading up to an educational presentation. Enjoy good food, meet new friends, and learn a little about something related to plant based eating!

We also host a monthly whole food plant based meal prep workshop through HyVee’s Simple Fix program, community lectures and a closed group Facebook page.
