We are a whole food plant-based no oil (WFPBNO) local book/video club.

We gather in person at two Arizona locations, once a month.
We meet to share a WFPBNO potluck dinner and discuss the month's book or video on healthy plant-based living.
Sometimes in lieu of reading books or watching videos, we go on educational field trips.
We explore many aspects of healthy living including diet, environmental impact, cruelty-free lifestyle, zero waste concepts and much more.

About the movie: In a small town in the heart of Texas cattle country, Mayor Ed Smith had prostate cancer. Ed decided to forego conventional treatment, and instead adopted a strictly plant-based, whole foods diet. Soon thereafter he returned for his follow-up check. The doctors, his family, and his community, were stunned to find that his cancer had vanished. Then he and his wife embarked on a mission to educate and help the citizens of their town to also adopt the lifestyle and become healthier.
