The first annual Harvest Vegfest is set for Saturday September 22, 2018.

Harvest Veg​f​est will give a spotlight to the wonderful abundance of local produce of York County and the surrounding area​​. It​ will be a free, community-centered event which will focus on healthy, sustainable and compassionate living. Food, vendors, kids’ activities​ speakers, cooking demonstrations, a pie eating contest, and​ ​live entertainment​ will make this event one to remember!

Harvest Vegfest is being organized by the Animal Advocates of South Central PA whose mission is to spread compassion for animals in a peaceful and respectful way. Vegfests have been popping up all around the world and it is time to bring the fun to York! We are thrilled to be putting on this event for the community and hope to inspire kindness to all creatures, large and small, as well as bring awareness of the health and environmental impacts of a plant-based diet.
