My plan is to meet at Tuxedo at 7:10pm. There is a train leaving Penn Station at 6:07pm which will enable you to change at Secaucus for a northbound Tuxedo train. If you are taking the train make sure to arrive 15 minutes earlier to find your train. I might or might not to take the train. It all depends on whether I have to work onsite or not for my job. If not I will drive to Tuxedo. I will update the meetup the day before letting you all know. If a few people are taking the train perhaps one of you can be the point person for everyone else.

Only buy a one way ticket as we will not be returning via Tuxedo to NY

You can buy a ticket on the NJTransit app so no need to rush to a ticket machine once you are at Penn.

This is mainly swimming event, I would ask everyone coming to come for the swimming part and not the hiking part. If you are not going to swim please don't come.

If you are driving please meet us at the Tuxedo, NY train station near route 17.

We will catch a ride with those driving there to the trailhead.

This will be a short hike because we mainly want to swim. This is a nice secret spot we have.

We will return to NYC by getting a ride with one of the drivers.

Please bring some wine or beer and some food to enjoy. Please bring your own cups and utensils. No disposable cups or utensils. Let's minimize waste. It's leave no trace.

Also bring a mask.

We carry and carry out everything. If you see any trash on the trail please pick it up. Lets leave Harriman cleaner than when we arrive.

1L of water in a reusable water bottle.

Headlamps are a must since we will mostly be hiking back in the dark.
