Event Description
Event hosted by V-Learning Community. This is a free event.

Whether you're vegan, vegetarian or just thinking about, please join us for a virtual Gentle Thanksgiving hosted by V-Learning Community. We’ll begin our visit by introducing ourselves and sharing what we’ve made for brunch - by describing the main ingredients and showing it on camera. To add some fun to the gathering, let’s have a cook off! We’ll vote on the best looking and most interesting dishes. The winner will have bragging rights and get a prize. So show us what you’ve got!

Let’s celebrate and learn about turkeys. We’ll watch a couple quick videos together and share our insights. There will also be a few activities woven throughout.

Next, we’ll have a cooking demo of homemade vegan butter and cheese. Please refer to the list of ingredients and kitchen tools, if you’d like to follow along in your own kitchen. I’ll share a couple vegan turkey alternatives on camera. Please bring your findings too.

Butter: Coconut oil, vegan milk (soy, coconut or almond), canola oil, salt and liquid lecithin
Cheese: cashews, salt, probiotic, and nutritional yeast.

Kitchen Tools: Food Processor

We’ll wind down the evening with some open community time.
