Event Description

Florida Voices for Animals has adopted beautiful Al Lopez Park through the Tampa Bay Beautification’s Adopt-A-Park Program. In exchange for FVA cleaning up litter and debris, removing invasive plants and performing other tasks at the park 4 times a year, the city posted a sign at the park to let others know that FVA has adopted this park. This is a great way to beautify our community while at the same time letting others know about FVA.

We will meet in front of the small green building (public restrooms) to your immediate left as you enter the park. If you arrive a little late please call the FVA phone to find us at 727-656-8368.

We will start at 9:00 am and end at 11:00 am. Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and shoes (closed-toe). Bring water in a reusable container and you may also want to bring sunscreen and a visor/ball cap. If anyone has the tools to grab trash without leaning over, please bring those. We will provide garbage bags and gloves.

Hope to see you there.
