Event Description
Indy VegFest invites you to join us at the Peace Learning Center for a five-course dinner featuring the talents of five different vegan chefs from Central Indiana, including:
Francis Krug, Proverbial Grounds
Alisha Madden, Vegesaurus
Iesha Murry, Mrs. Murry's Naturals
Ian Phillips, Three Carrots
Amanda Reninger, Sea Salt and Cinnamon
Guests will be seated in the Great Room overlooking Eagle Creek. Each chef will briefly describe their dish as it is being served, and there will be a brief presentation in between each course - including an exclusive tour of the Be The Change exhibit located in the basement of the Peace Learning Center. A silent auction will run throughout the evening, and will feature all vegan and cruelty-free gifts, art, home goods, and more. All tickets include entrance to Eagle Creek Park.
All proceeds from the evening will go to the 2018 Indy VegFest. This year's VegFest attracted over 4,500 people. We intend to make the 2018 Indy VegFest even bigger!
The Peace Learning Center is located in the middle of Eagle Creek Park, in the former Eagle Crest Estate of J.K. Lilly, Jr., brother of Eli Lilly. PLC is a community educational institution promoting peace-building and conflict resolution with programs replicated in eight US cities and five countries.
