Event Description

Dexter's Pub regularly serves a few vegan options, and they also run vegan specials. Phil has arranged a really special menu with Chef Joe Burbach. For this dinner, Chef Joe will feature items that are found regularly on the menu, as well as specials.

This meetup has some fun twists. Since the kitchen is on the smaller side, this meetup will start between 6:00 and 7:00 (you show up anytime you want during the hour) and the wait staff will take your order as you arrive and serve you as the food is ready. This will ensure the kitchen isn't flooded with all of the orders at one time. Additionally, you will select your entrees and sides once you are seated.

When you arrive, mention that you are with our group and you'll be served Roasted Red Pepper & IPA Hummus as an appetizer!

Then, you will select which dinner and side option you want (for the items that come with sides). There is no need to decide about what you want to eat until you arrive at the dinner. The waitstaff will take your order, after you're seated.

Side options: brew fries, waffle fries, pub chips, garlic chile fries, side salad or cup of soup (soup options will be: Tomato Basil, Roasted Sweet Potato Corn Chowder, and Vegan Chili).

On the night of the event, you will select one of the following entrees:

The Vegan Burger (on the menu daily!)
Impossible burger, Chao cheeze, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayo on a toasted bun.

Wisconsin Vegan Brat (special menu from time to time)
Beyond sausage, mustard relish, sauerkraut, and haystack onions on a brat roll.

Mac n Cheeze (special menu from time to time)
Trotolle noodles tossed with a creamy vegan cheeze, baked with a panko & rye crumb crust. Served with a side of garlic bread. Make this selection gluten free with gf penne, no crumb crust & gluten free garlic toast.

Portabella Philly (on the menu daily!)
Grilled portabellas topped with Chao cheeze, bell peppers, onions, heirloom tomato, vegan basil pesto, and a balsamic glaze on a toasted hoagie. Make this option gluten free on Udi’s gluten free bread.

Grilled Cheeze & Tomato Soup (special menu from time to time)
Chao cheeze, fried Brussel sprouts, and pickled red onions on grilled sourdough. Served with a bowl of Tomato Basil soup. Make this option gluten free on Udi’s gluten free bread.

Fee Disclosure:
The $15.00 fee includes everything mentioned above. That covers the meal, plus tax, tip, and a little to cover the meetup.com and PayPal fees.

RSVP on this event page for the total number attending and include all children, except those who just nibble off your plate. Pay using PayPal. If you have any difficulty adding the number of guests that you desire, simply private message Dove and she'll assist you.

What about kids?
Kids are welcome and pay full price. However, young children who will only nibble off of your plate can attend at no cost.

Important: RSVP/Payment Information
You must pay when you RSVP (not at a later date). RSVP will be closed on 12/5/18.

Refund Policy:
If you cancel on or before 12/5/18 by 5:00 pm, you will get a full refund. There are no refunds for cancellations after the deadline or if you do not show up to the event. If something comes up at the last minute you are welcome to find someone else to attend instead of you. The reason refunds are not given after the deadline is that Phil agrees to pay for everyone who has signed up at that point.
