This training is offering two valuable bonus features at no additional charge. Trainees will receive tickets to hear Neal Barnard, M.D. speak on Tuesday evening at 6 PM. Dr. Barnard is a well-known leader in the lifestyle medicine movement. Tuesday afternoon trainees will attend an actual live CHIP program by Kathy Reynaert Randall, one of our most experienced and engaging Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIP) facilitators, in nearby Lehigh Acres. Note that if you plan to fly out on Tuesday evening, the schedule and drive time will allow you to arrive at the airport by 5:15 PM.

Training Schedule
This two-day intensive training will run Monday morning through Tuesday afternoon in the hotel’s first floor conference room. Also included is attendance at a local evening CHIP program which allows you to see an experienced CHIP facilitator in action. Some evening homework may be assigned. A more detailed training schedule will be emailed to registrants in advance.
Training Schedule
In order to get maximum benefit from training, trainees are asked before training to complete either:
A) Participation in a local CHIP program or
B) Watch the documentary Forks Over Knives and the five brief video clips at https://www.chiphealth.com/About-CHIP/ProgramOutline/
Meals
A complimentary breakfast buffet is included with each night’s lodging at Holiday Inn for those who book as CHIP trainees. A delicious and healthy lunch buffet will be served both Monday and Tuesday. The cost is included in your training registration fee.
Transportation
Free Shuttle: Guests at Holiday Inn Fort Myers Airport Town Center receive complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport two miles away. Complimentary shuttle service is available to other destinations within a three mile radius.
Flights
Over a dozen airlines serve Fort Myers with flights to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW).
Driving
From I-75 take exit 128 (Alico Rd.) and go west (toward the airport). Go a half mile and turn left onto Interstate Commerce Drive. Stay left at the T and watch for Holiday Inn on the right.

If you wish to rent a car, several companies are located at the airport. In addition, Fox Rent A Car is located nearby and offers shuttle service between the airport and their lot. Area Attractions
The hotel will honor the CHIP room rate for those wishing to extend their stay in the area. Fort Myers, the “City of Palms,” is a popular destination with tourists from around the world. Sanibel Island, the Edison and Ford Winter Estates, baseball spring training games, Koreshan State Park, ECHO, Six Mile Cypress Slough board walk, and numerous beaches, golf courses, parks and nature preserves are among the attractions. Shopping and dining options abound. Everglades National Park and Seminole Indian Villages make a fascinating day trip. Many full and half day boat tours are also available.
