Event hosted by Sacramento Vegan Society.

Enjoy a riveting, poignant, and often humorous presentation by the world-famous president of PETA, Ingrid Newkirk.

Newkirk will be the special guest of the Center for Animal Protection & Education (CAPE) an animal advocacy and rescue organization based in Grass Valley, CA. All funds raised from this event will benefit CAPE's animal rescue programs.

Animalkind, the title of Newkirk’s latest book, describes the theme of her talk too. She will delve into who animals are; their amazing abilities, the emotions they share with us; our past and current relationships with them; and our responsibility, as moral animals, to be kind to them. This book is also available for pre-order with purchase of your ticket.

A limited number of copies of Newkirk's book will be available for purchase at the event- Pre-order yours with purchase of ticket, to ensure you get a copy! A book signing will take place in the final hour of the event.
