ABOUT VFC
VegFest Calgary is an entirely volunteer run, non-profit organization. It was conceived in early 2016 by a small group of passionate individuals who saw the opportunity to unite and enhance our beautiful city. VFC is unique among other vegan festivals in that we take a strictly pro-intersectional approach, in which we advocate against all oppression.

OUR MISSION
To strengthen the growing pro-intersectional vegan movement in our city. Through creating accessible and education-focused events, we aim to support local businesses, enhance our community, and empower individuals to make meaningful changes that will benefit our health, planet and the animals we share it with.

VegFest Calgary is a completely grassroots labour of love. Our board members and other organizers do not take a salary, and everyone on our team puts in countless hours to make VFC happen.
