Introducing VegEvents.com

Welcome to the new VegEvents.com (formerly Must Love Veg). We have completely redesigned the site and re-branded it as VegEvents in order to make our mission clearer: to help people find vegan events anywhere in the world.

What’s new:

  • ‘The Weekly Agenda’ newsletter:
We have started a free weekly email newsletter. Subscribe and you’ll receive one email every Monday with a list of blog posts from the last week, vegan events near you in the next week, and vegan conferences and festivals near you in the next 60 days.
  • ‘Report Event’ link:
We automatically import events from many groups, but if an event is updated we don’t pull in the latest changes. And sometimes a non-vegan event might slip through our review process. You can now let us know when an event listing needs to be updated by clicking on the “Report Event” link on the event’s Veg Events page. You can find the link to the right of the “Event Description” heading on each event page. This will open an email to us where you can fill in details.
  • ‘Organizing an Event’ resources page:
We have created a page of resources for vegan event organizers. Looking for grants? Looking for resources on how to start or run a VegFest? Looking to network with other event organizers? Looking to publicize your event? You’ll find useful links here.
  • Navigation menu:
We now have a nicer navigation menu at the top of all pages that lets you go to any page on the site.

What’s changed:

  • Mobile first:
Everything has been redesigned to work well on mobile. Most of our visitors use a mobile device and we think you’ll love the new design.
  • Homepage:
We have completely redesigned our homepage to make it easier to navigate and quicker to load, with each event listing showing a minimal amount of information. We also no longer automatically filter the results by your current location. You will need to click the map marker button next to the main search box in order to filter results by your current location.
  • Event Search:
The search box on the homepage has also be redone. Now it makes the location search box the focus and takes up less space. There is an Advanced Settings icon that will open up a box where you can change the distance to search, the date range to search, and enter a keyword to filter search results.
  • Single event pages:
We tweaked the single event listing pages to make them easier to read. Some of the information was reordered. And links will now open in a new window so that you don’t lose your place on VegEvents.com.
  • Submit an Event page:
We redesigned the page to work better on mobile and be easier to fill out.
  • Festivals page:
We tried to make it easier for your to browse through the locations to find the events you are interested in.
  • Conferences page:

  • Safe Spaces page:
